Blockport - Our Approach to Privacy

Last Updated: 8th May 2025

1. Our Commitment

We are Managed State Pty Ltd (ABN 86 667 428 024), trading as Blockport ("Blockport," "we," "us"). This policy explains how we handle your information when you use our website (blockport.xyz) and our services, especially if you apply to use our Staking Interface as a Wholesale Client.

By using our website or services, or giving us your information, you agree to this policy. If you don't agree, please don't use our services or give us your information. This policy is part of our Terms and Conditions.

2. Information We Collect

For Wholesale Client Whitelisting (Staking Interface):

If you apply to use our Staking Interface (which is for Wholesale Clients only), we need to collect certain information to check if you're eligible and to manage your access. This is what we'll typically ask for:

  • Your contact person's full name.
  • Your business or entity name.
  • ABN/ACN (for Australian entities).
  • Contact email address and phone number.
  • How much SOL you plan to stake.
  • Your Solana wallet address(es) (public keys) for whitelisting.
  • Other relevant information or statements to help confirm you're a Wholesale Client.

We usually collect this information when you submit it to us through an application form (e.g., using Typeform) linked from our Website, or when you talk to us directly via channels like Telegram or email. When you use third-party services like Typeform or Telegram, their own privacy policies also apply to how your information is handled on their platforms.

Basic Website Log Data:

When you visit our website, our servers may automatically log standard technical information like your IP address, browser type, and which pages you visited. We use this to keep our site secure, fix problems, and see how it's being used.

Cookies:

Currently, we do not use cookies or similar tracking on our general website. If this changes, we'll update this policy.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use your information to:

  • Provide Our Services: Check your Wholesale Client application, manage your whitelisted status, and let you use the Staking Interface. We'll also use it to give you info on our other services if you ask.
  • Communicate With You: Answer your questions and send important updates about your status, our services, security, or changes to our terms or this policy (via email or apps like Telegram).
  • Improve Our Services: See how our website is used so we can make it better and keep it secure.
  • Legal Reasons: Meet any legal or regulatory needs.

4. Storing and Protecting Your Information

Storage:

Your information might be stored on secure servers in Australia or other countries, by us or trusted service providers.

Security:

We take reasonable steps to protect your information from misuse, loss, or unauthorized access. This includes things like access controls and secure storage for the information you provide to us, such as your contact details and the public wallet addresses (public keys) you submit for whitelisting. However, no online system is 100% secure, so we can't guarantee absolute security. Remember, we will never ask for your private keys or seed phrases; you are solely responsible for keeping those secure.

Third-Party App Security:

If you give us info via apps like Typeform or Telegram, remember their security also plays a role.

5. How Long We Keep Your Information

We'll keep your information (mainly for Wholesale Client whitelisting) as long as needed for the reasons we collected it:

  • While you're an active, approved user of our Staking Interface.
  • To meet our legal duties or sort out disputes.

When we don't need it anymore, we'll securely delete or de-identify it. (Note: Legal advice can help determine specific timeframes here).

6. Your Rights

Under Australian privacy law, you may have rights to:

  • Ask for access to your personal information we hold.
  • Ask us to correct anything that's wrong.
  • Ask us to delete your information (though sometimes we might have to keep it for legal reasons).

To ask about these, contact us (see Section 11). We'll respond reasonably quickly and may need to check it's really you.

7. Sharing Your Information

We don't sell or rent your personal information.

We'll only share it with others if:

  • You say it's okay.
  • Our trusted service providers need it to help us run our services (like web hosting, data storage), and they agree to keep it confidential.
  • The law requires us to, or if we genuinely believe it's needed to protect our rights, safety, or others' safety.
  • If our business is sold or merged, your information might be transferred (with confidentiality protections).

8. Links to Other Sites

Our website might link to other sites. If you click a link, you'll go to their site. We don't control those sites, so check their privacy policies.

9. Children

Our services are not for anyone under 18. We don't knowingly collect information from children. If we find out we have, we'll remove it.

10. Changes to This Policy

We might update this policy. If we do, we'll post the new one on this page and change the "Last Updated" date. For big changes, we might give a more obvious notice (like on our homepage or by contacting approved Wholesale Clients). Check back here to see any changes.
